Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for signups submitted via this page is Complete ACL.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect:

Your name and email address.
Your position in the waitlist queue and the date and time you joined.

So the page can recognise you if you come back, your name and email are also kept in your own browser’s local storage, on your device. This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

We do not knowingly collect any other information about you from this page. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use the details you provide to send you updates about Complete ACL, including your welcome email, news in the run-up to launch, and the launch announcement itself.

Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is Article 6(1)(a) (Consent): you give it by submitting the signup form.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email we send, or by emailing accounts@completeacl.com. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect the lawfulness of any processing we did before you withdrew it.

Who we share it with

We use Klaviyo to store the waitlist and send our emails, and Vercel to host this site; both act as data processors on our behalf under appropriate data-processing terms. Some processing may take place outside the UK (Klaviyo is based in the United States), in which case it is covered by suitable safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

We do not sell or otherwise share your data.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while the waitlist is active and, after launch, for as long as you remain subscribed to Complete ACL updates. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you immediately and remove your details from our active list. You can ask us to delete your data entirely at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Have inaccurate data corrected.
Have your data erased where we no longer need it.
Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we’ve mishandled your data.

Security

The signup form submits securely over HTTPS. Your details are stored in our email platform, Klaviyo, and are only accessible to the Complete ACL team.

Updates to this notice

If we change how we handle waitlist signups we’ll update this page. The version live on this page is always the current one.
